An Evite alternative, for gifts instead of guest lists

Evite is a hosting tool, and a good one: invitations with RSVP tracking, reminders, guest messages, sign-up sheets and polls, free to start. If you're throwing a party for thirty people, it does the boring half for you.

RAYXIS Gifts — ours — does something else. It sends one person something to open: a pop-up birthday card with your own photo inside, a date invite whose "no" button runs away, a room built for their birthday that they look around by moving the phone. And for a wedding, a free invitation with a live countdown to the day.

Everything said here about Evite was read from their own pages on 28 October 2026. Where their pages don't say, this page says so rather than guessing. Something wrong or changed? Tell us and we'll correct it.

What Evite does well

Everything around the event. Their pages describe RSVP tracking with read receipts and deadlines, messages sent by RSVP status, scheduled reminders, wishlists and registries, sign-up sheets, polls and cost sharing. Free invitations come with a shared photo album for guests after the event, and you can upload your own design, including from Canva.

Pricing is per event for Premium designs, by the size of the guest list — $17.99 for up to 12 guests, up to $99.99 for 750 — or $249.99 a year for Evite Pro, with unlimited Premium invitations and greeting cards, as their pricing page showed it.

Pick Evite when you're hosting — RSVPs, reminders, a guest list, who's bringing what. We don't do any of that.

What we do differently

We make the thing someone opens. A pop-up birthday card whose people — cut out of your own photo — stand up as it opens. A date invite where the "no" button runs away, and the day, time and food they pick come back to you. Wedding invitations, free, with a live countdown to the day and an add-to-calendar button.

And 360° rooms, which no invitation does: a Birthday Room with their name in neon and your photos framed on the wall, a Love Room they light up by finding four hearts. They look around by moving the phone.

Most designs are free, with no account on either side and no ads. Premium is a pack of credits bought once — one credit, one premium gift — so the price doesn't grow with a guest list. A free gift stays online for 10 days, a premium one for 90.

Pick us when it's for one person and you want them to open something, or you'd like a free invitation with no ads in it.

What we don't do: RSVP tracking, reminders, guest lists, sign-up sheets or polls. For hosting a party, Evite will serve you better.

What you can send instead of an invitation

Every one has a free demo — open it and see what they'd get. The 360° rooms are looked around by moving the phone.

Questions people ask

Is there a free alternative to Evite without ads?
For one person, yes: most designs on RAYXIS Gifts are free, with no ads and no account needed. Evite has free invitations too; its free-versus-Premium comparison lists "No ads" as a Premium feature. For a party with a guest list and RSVPs, Evite is the better tool.
Can I send a free wedding invitation online without a guest list?
Yes. RAYXIS Gifts has two wedding invitation templates, both free, with a live countdown to the day and an add-to-calendar button, sent as one link you share yourself. It doesn't collect RSVPs.
How much does Evite Premium cost?
On 28 October 2026 Evite's pricing page showed Premium invitations at $17.99 for up to 12 guests, $36.99 for up to 30, $68.99 for up to 75 and $99.99 for up to 750, and Evite Pro at $249.99 a year. Check their site for current prices.
Is there an online invite that asks someone out and shows their answer?
The RAYXIS Gifts date invite: a cat asks your question, the "no" button runs away, and they pick the day, the time and the food. Their answers show up for you on the same device you made it on. It's free.

The honest way to judge it is to open one. Every design has a free demo, with no sign-in and nothing to install.
