Ask them out — and the “no” button runs away

A cat pops the question, they say yes, and they pick the day, the time and the food.

Ask them out properly: a cat pops the question, the “no” button runs away, and they pick the day, the time and the food — you see their answers.

A page that asks them out for you. A little cat called Mochi holds up a tulip and asks your question — or your own photo does, with Mochi peeking round it — over two buttons, YES and no.

The no button doesn't want to be pressed. It runs from their cursor and from their finger, the YES gets bigger every time they try, and after enough attempts the no button gives up and joins the other side.

What happens when they open it

  1. 1

    They open an envelope

A pink envelope with a heart seal, and your name on it: you have a question for them. One tap and the letter slides out.

  2. 2

    They try to say no

The no button jumps away every time, Mochi gasps, then starts pleading, and a new line pops up under the buttons each go. The YES ends it — with party poppers and confetti falling.

  3. 3

    They pick the date

A day (tomorrow, this weekend, or any date), a time (breakfast, lunch, golden hour, dinner, late night or their own), and the food — from our menu or from yours.

  4. 4

    You see their answers

They get a little ticket with it all on, stamped “It's a date”. You see the day, the time, the food, any note they added — and how many times they went for no first — in Your gifts.
