A 123Greetings alternative: a free gift instead of a free ecard

123Greetings has been sending free ecards for years — thousands of them, for every birthday, festival and odd little holiday in the calendar, from Diwali to National Oatmeal Day. It's free, you can send as a guest, and the pages carry ads to pay for it.

RAYXIS Gifts — ours — is free too for most designs, with no ads and no account, but it sends a different thing: not a card from a library, but a gift built around them. Their name on a pop-up card with your own photo standing up inside; five boxes to unwrap; a Diwali street where a teddy's rocket writes their name in the sky.

Everything said here about 123Greetings was read from their own pages on 28 October 2026. Where their pages don't say, this page says so rather than guessing. Something wrong or changed? Tell us and we'll correct it.

What 123Greetings does well

Breadth, for free. Their library covers birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, get-well, pets and friendship, and a calendar of events from the big festivals — Christmas, Diwali, Valentine's Day — to the small ones. Their FAQ says there's no cost to browse or send, you can often send as a guest, and the card arrives as soon as you press send. There are birthday reminders and a mobile app.

It's paid for by advertising: the pages carry Google ads.

Pick 123Greetings when you want a free card for a particular day in under a minute, and the ads don't bother you.

What we do differently

The gift is about them. The pop-up birthday card has their name on the front and the people from your photo standing up inside. The nested boxes are five boxes, each hidden in the last, with your letter at the bottom. The photo album is your year in pictures, page by page.

For the festivals, 360° rooms: Diwali Night, a street of diyas where a nervous teddy's rocket writes their name across the sky, and the Bhai Dooj & Rakhi courtyard, where they light the diyas, do the tilak and open a present with your photos inside. They look around by moving the phone.

Most designs are free, with no account and no ads anywhere. A free gift stays online for 10 days, a premium one for 90.

Pick us when you want the free thing to be personal — their name, your photos — and not sharing the screen with an advert.

What we don't do: a card for every small holiday, birthday reminders, or a mobile app. For those, 123Greetings will serve you better.

What you can send instead of an ecard

Every one has a free demo — open it and see what they'd get. The 360° rooms are looked around by moving the phone.

Questions people ask

Is there a free alternative to 123Greetings without ads?
Yes. Most designs on RAYXIS Gifts are free, with no ads and no account needed to make or open one. 123Greetings is free too and carries Google ads on its pages.
Can I send a free Diwali ecard with their name in it?
RAYXIS Gifts has Diwali designs where their name is part of the gift: the photo album and the nested boxes are free, and Diwali Night — a 360° street where a teddy's rocket writes their name in the sky — is premium.
What's a good free birthday ecard with my own photo?
The RAYXIS Gifts pop-up birthday card: their name on the front, and when they open it, the people from your photo — cut out like paper — stand up inside with balloons and a banner. It's free.
Is there something for Bhai Dooj or Raksha Bandhan I can send online?
RAYXIS Gifts has a Bhai Dooj and Rakhi courtyard in 360° (premium), where they light the diyas, do the tilak and open a present with your photos and letter inside, plus free designs like the photo album and the nested boxes.

The honest way to judge it is to open one. Every design has a free demo, with no sign-in and nothing to install.
